Biographical Sketch
Currently David works as a Research Associate on the NRLC project Impulsivity and Biological Markers for Suicidality and Drug Use in Adolescents (R01-MH077684). Before joining the NRLC, David worked as a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin's Waggoner Center for Alcohol and Addiction Research. There he studied the effects of ethanol exposure on dopaminergic signaling, focusing primarily on DARPP-32 phosphorylation in vivo and dopamine transporter (DAT)-mediated dopamine uptake in vitro.
