Biographical Sketch
Marisa is currently working as a Research Associate on two studies of youth at risk for development of substance use involvement: Consequences of Adolescent Substance Use on the Development of Impulse Control (R01-DA026868) and Relating Brain Maturation to Impulse Control and Substance Use Involvement (R01-DA033997). Additionally, Marisa works on an adult study of central nervous system characteristics of persons at risk for alcoholism (R01-AA019691).
Prior to joining the NRLC, Marisa worked as an undergraduate research assistant focusing on The Effects of Jealousy and Parental Role Modeling on Revenge in Romantic Relationships with Dr. Christina Sinisi at Charleston Southern University.
