Biographical Sketch
Currently Sarah works as a Research Associate on the NRLC project Impulsivity and Biological Markers for Suicidality and Drug Use in Adolescents (R01-MH077684). Before joining the NRLC, Sarah worked as a Social Science Research Associate II at UTHSCSA on a project studying pathways of alcohol and substance use disorders among adolescents. Prior to coming to UTHSCSA, Sarah completed her Masters thesis on health disparities among Hispanic populations and worked as a graduate assistant on various projects studying culture and community, perspectives of sexual abuse/incest, and a case study on Schizophrenia.
